I think you should consider that they may well be right, and that they can't find work at a rate they expect due to H1Bs working for less. People tend to know more about their own lives than you do about theirs.

It's actually a core and well supported part of capitalism - people hire more when firing is easy, lenders are more willing to lend in industries with repo men, etc. It's kind of morbid, but rich ecosystems like the Amazon mostly

This is on .NET Core, so you can actually run this anywhere! I do a lot of Core development on a Mac, but it runs well on AWS/Linux/my toaster. Weird times, huh?
