In the UK you don't need a medical reason, you can simply choose to take an automatic test. But then of course you can only drive automatic cars, just like in the Netherlands. Ironically I believe an American who has never driven a man

This is always the problem with this stuff (and perhaps is even by design). They always justify it by mentioning terrorists etc, but it's really used to keep normal, mostly "law-abiding" people in line. Real "bad guys&

Yet the roads themselves are increasingly in a state of disrepair. Maybe the money wasted on this stuff could be the thing that finally gets people to care about it.

I want to believe that materials like wool are the answer, but I fear they're not. Raising animals is carbon intensive, and all those sheep need somewhere to graze. If people switched to wool clothing on a big scale, it would probably

Anyone else find it depressing looking at all these awesome portfolio sites? I’m a halfway-competent frontend developer who can build most things when I’m given a design, but I can’t imagine ever coming up with a cool quirky idea like this

Thanks for the correction, I shouldn't have made such a sweeping statement. However I think my point still stands. The regulation of newer drugs seems to be dictated by ideology more than anything else. In many ways we've gone bac

In what way are they anything other than speculative? Drug laws are certainly not evidence based (in most places). They are based on ideologically driven speculation about the imagined consequences of legalisation.

I’m saying it’s both of those things. I’m grateful to the author that I found out this way. I still think it’s marketed in a deliberately misleading way.

I've never expected travel insurance to cover me for long term care, I just assumed it would cover me for any surgery I needed immediately following an accident, plus a bit of recovery time.
