Nah you're not talking about the same thing. When you say it has gun control laws you're thinking "you have to wait 10 days to buy a pistol". When he says it has no gun control laws he's thinking "after 10 days

It's only 2 months old. Clearly vibe coded. Still, kind of crazy what you can vibe code now. Also the actual language design seems quite nice. I'd love something like this that was embeddable (and not vibe coded). There are basica

I believe the word comes from when people started using CNN models in reverse, so hallucinate input that never existed. LLM output is produced via a vaguely similar process. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeepDream But

I agree, but some people are just miserly. "Why spend money when we don't have to." is probably their thought process.

Zig has a really great backwards compatibility story with C, and it also is a better C compiler even if you don't write a single line of Zig. It's not hard to see why that is popular.

It feels obvious, but people feel cheated when they have been cheated. If you learn that text was AI when it was presented as human written (even implicitly) then that's deception and people are right to feel deceived. Just as when &qu

This is literally not a problem. All Python projects use 4-space indentation. You would not have your editor configured for tabs when editing a Python program. It's really not an issue at all in practice. The issue of making moving cod

It's not unreasonable to dislike coding in s-expression syntax. It is not very readable. There's a reason the vast majority of programming languages (especially weighted by popularity) use more traditional syntax.
