the legal notice period is determined on tenure. Think two years you are obliged to give 1 month. So while the 6 months is overly long you wouldn’t need to do it.

Seems like he is in an impossible position to continue down his current path. He has a large enough user base he might only need to replicate a few key subreddits. Sure didn’t reddit start off by having bots vote or post submissions

Can this actually be enforced. It sounds like it’s a Dutch court v US entity where they were a contractor. If the company had a Dutch entity they wouldn’t make such obvious errors in judgement as they’d know the local laws

The new regulation requires a hand-wavey style explanation i.e build a retrieval / ranking / matching algorithm that learns from customer clicks and considers blah blah. There will be no explanation of the actual algorithm.
