Not to mention that there is subset of people that are on neither side, and just want to watch the world burn for the sake of enjoying flames.

110 in a 100 zone in NZ would see you with a $30 fine and you would need to accrue 10 such fines in a 12 month period to lose your license. As a result, speeding is very common here. Australia is a totally different story.

It’s the ultimate meta play - it’s no longer you vs the game, it’s you vs the game developers. I ran a botting SaaS for Aion years ago, and the constant cat and mouse was what kept me going at it.

“Not sure, sorry” is more my go to. Nothing illegal or inciting about ignorance and stupidity. And manners cost nothing.

I'll preface this with the fact I agree that there is a difference between using a framework and being curious enough to dig into the details I think you're veering into No True Scotsman territory here. IMO, the vast majority of p

My workflow for that kind of thing goes something like this (I use Sonnet 3.7 Thinking in Cursor): 1. 1st prompt is me describing what I want to build, what I know I want and any requirements or restrictions I'm aware of. Based on thes

Yeah. I prefer my phallic reminders in the messaging application where they belong, seeing them in the picture album would just be horrifying.

I am apathetic and don't care about society beyond my own timeline. The only difference between you and me is that I'm honest about it - actions speak louder than words and I'm not seeing much action on that front. Why would

All those other companies are just as amoral or problematic as Tesla and any Chinese manufacturer (and by extension their respective governments). The only thing that differentiates them in my eyes is price relative to performance, and I bu

Maybe I'm getting old and jaded, but I don't really care about what the CEO or company does. Nearly every time I (and likely you) buy something, it's produced by, transported by, funded by, owned by a company or in a country

Are you NATing the redirection to the pi hole server? If so, disabling it should let pihole see unique clients.

That’s the issue. It’s my phone. I want to run X on it, and the developer of X is willing to provide it. Why is Apple the arbiter in the middle of that exchange?

I live in Christchurch while working remotely for US companies and you’d be surprised how affordable it is here in those circumstances.

I live in NZ where there are medical standards applied to legal cannabis - only recently have I seen dispensaries advertising non irradiated cannabis, presumably because the manufacturing facilities have progressed to no longer require it.

That is a very good question, why did you? Note that I vape weed several times a week, so I’m not passing judgement. Just seems odd to justify the use over several paragraphs and then ask that question.

That’s just implies that there is a common causality - in the case of ice cream and drowning, I suspect that is nice weather. It also correlates with serial killers, because turns out no one likes to do their hobby in poor weather.

Given the relatively small market share that SawStop enjoys, you can only assume that most people feel like the fingers aren't really worth the rent.

If they applied FRAND requirements to it, then I could see that working. So long as it's just a license for the patent holder to extort other companies I can't support it at all.
