So I read the note you quoted as "an APFS filesystem can't be exported over the network via AFP", but what you wrote seems to say "a machine running the APFS filesystem cannot mount an AFP exported filesystem". I do

In case you're honestly approaching this and misunderstanding, the value of the dollar lies in that the US gov't transacts taxes in dollars. It's not just "whoever" - if BTC had a reasonably equivalently vital trans

I think the number one item on the checklist was "how can we build a car that /just barely/ crosses the line into 'light truck' category so has much lower fuel mileage targets per CAFE standards". On that point

I think you've fallen victim to Microsoft's somewhat awkward naming scheme - the Windows Subsystem for Linux is the name of the "linux subsystem in windows" that you're referring to. It's not complementary or u

As someone who doesn't have familiarity with Withings products but is considering buying one of the Nokia scales - how did they screw it up? What would you want a "smart" scale to do that the Nokia doesn't?

Ah, ok. I read the "Equipment Deployed" section which called out gelatin, body armor etc. but not walls and such. Ctrl-F'ed for "drywall" just to be sure and didn't hit since the term isn't in the document

Ok - but that is ballistic gelatin penetration. The comment I replied to claimed both expansion and lack of penetration in drywall, neither of which is at all a realistic expectation for extant 5.56 rounds, to my knowledge.

Can someone explain how Yahoo's valuation increased by $33B, and yet it was sold for only $4.5B? Was Yahoo terribly in debt when Marissa took over? Or does the metric for valuation have no basis in reality?

Citation? If such a round exists I'd be very interested to see it. Of all the 5.56 vs drywall tests I've seen (and there are lots out there), they never make a hole in drywall larger than 5.56 unless it has yawed, and even then it
