There are probably very few parts of the code of a pacemaker that requires knowledge about medical devices or pacemakers specifically - probably the drivers that connect to the sensors and the algorithms that determine what the pacemaker sh

I've read about half the article so far, but isnt this basically prolog? Is there reference to efficency in the document? Constraint solvers like prolog are pretty slow.

Is undefined behavior a thing outside of C? Is that really something you should question rather then just assume that modern language have no undefined behavior?

Like I said, benchmarks are a terrible way to gauge performance, most of my rankings come from people's experience in various situations, Rust is too young for people to have any experience with it.

Well, the relational model does not describe or contain a notion of table really, so I guess you could model it in any way you want, even within a single table. But I think that's a mute point, I doubt they kept any part of the relatio

It's a low level language without a GC and compiles to LLVM, it should in theory rival C/C++ in performance, but it's still young and only recently begun making headways for performance. So just a hunch, also some barely usab

v8 is just a javascript engine, node.js is a platform built on v8. Node.js adds various standard native modules - mostly various IO (file, tcp etc...), a way to load other modules, access to the underlying OS (environment variables etc...).
