I don't know if NIH is applicable here, ActionScript 3 adopted the optional type syntax of what was supposed to be ES4 , not the other way around (I think).

Social media also makes it easy to get exposed to opposing views. I make it a point to subscribe and follow people/groups with very opposing views to mine (as long as they are articulate). Such a thing was not very possible to do befor

Webpack replaces Browserify. Browserify, while groundsbreaking, turned out not to be so good and much harder to extend. Since webpack is not straightforward to use with other build tools, and since it can do most build actions easily enough

That's technically true, but realistically false. Just like people used to say that you don't need to use JSX to write React. What's the point of using a heavy duty, opinionated framework without embracing it completely? that

The lead developer was involved with angular 2, and basically left to develop Aurelia because he did not agree with the way angular 2 eventually went with. Mostly it's a different take on the next step for Angular that many Angularists

I've been a software engineer for close to 10 years now, and we are definitely overpaid for what most of us are doing, and that is mostly because of supply and demand.

At the moment I also moved to react, but there are some obvious advantages in angular 2: 1. as others mentioned its a fuller framework, mostly akin to using react with redux (or flux etc...) and a di framework. This also means that angular

I think that having a license that is both open source and that protects the creator's ability to earn money from his creation (thus paying for it's maintenance really) is a very good and important idea. Personally though I wouldn

Actually the easiest thing is simply not to care about how your log looks. If you don't then there are ry only two things you need to know how to do: If you didn't push to origin do an ammend. If you did, revert soft and commit th

That's not really true, lots of languages requires certain modules to be built from source with a C compiler. Ruby and Node.js comes to mind. Though in general the community behind them do a much better job of hiding this complexity fr

Doing synchronious is much clearer and easier, most of the async patterns (like yield/await and promises) really just try to simulate a sync paradigm. But there is one great reason why node's async first mentality is superior- whe
