I'm not so much referring to the economy right now necessarily. That will be affected, but the population pyramid is just one of many other factors, it's not a great proxy for the long-term sustainability of the welfare state and

This is disgusting. If you're so modern, respect a people's right to self-determination. Respect their freedom from oppression. Respect their freedom of religion. Respect the many rights of peaceful muslims in China, rather than m

This, plus the effect the second hand market has. You can pick up older-gen iPad Air's for $180. The top brand tablets (e.g. Apple) will keep their performance really well. They don't struggle from laptop's getting filled wit

I'm not sure I completely agree with the economic argument, particularly because birth rates and wealthiness tend to move in opposite directions and because a comparative analysis doesn't show that strong welfare states which prot

US is definitely not the only 30y fixed country in the world... how many countries are you familiar with? For example, the Netherlands has done 30y since forever. Current rates are between 2.5% (best case) and 3% (worst case with 0 down) fo

You're misinterpreting my point. I didn't say you can't drive a car without being cautious. I said you can't drive it without constantly braking the moment you detect an object, irrespective of what the object is doing.

The detection at 6 seconds was just of an object though, not an object moving in to the car's path. You couldn't drive a car if you had to constantly break because objects (such as people standing by the road) were being detected.
