And namecheap banning russian TLDs will not stop the bombings, will not stop Putin, and will not help Ukraine. I hate people who think they can solve geopolitical problems with SQL commands.

Fine, I will move my domains this week, even though I'm not in Russia and I don't have affected TLDs. You're punishing people for reasons they have zero control over. If you actually want to help, pick up a gun and go to Kiev

This is victim blaming on an unprecedented scale. The average russian has zero control over the actions of the dicatorship, and thus can't be held accountable. Collective punishment for the actions of few is always wrong, especially wh

Devirtualization is not the correct term. Devirt is a common compiler optimization, where a call through a function pointer is replaced with a direct call to the only possible target.

Guix intentionally does not patch security vulnerabilities if those fixes happen to be in proprietary blobs. Their stance on security is completely reckless and Guix has no place near my devices.

People need to stop bringing up F-Droid in response to Google supsending accounts. F-Droid does the exact same thing . If the distributor - whoever they are - don't like you, they will ban you. Your only option is self-hosting APKs (A

This map is very bad since 1. Most countries have "no data" 2. Those that do show an absolute number instead of a percentage, which makes the data essentially useless.

Arch linux is unironically more stable than Windows 10+. Not saying it doesn't have its problems, but it has WAY less than Windows.

Specifically, both shared_ptr and unique_ptr are owning pointers. Using plain old pointers for non-owning variables is idiomatic.

All ISPs in my country run their own recursive resolvers (with IPs resolving to my country). How "big" a resolver is does not matter at all - it's not a social network; the resolver either works or it doesn't work. Some
