The point of passkeys is that you can have many of them unlike a single password. Each device should have its own passkey that I can revoke if my device is lost.

Isn't this what is happening now? Given that the management is choosing who is let go, I believe many are threatening to let crucial people and programs end if funding is cut. It's extremely effective.

The caller still needs at least the Reader role, so it was limited to accounts that were added to the Azure subscription as only Readers. I'm glad they fixed it, but this doesn't seem too scary??

This is very untrue. I recently canceled both to get a different bundling deal, and it was super easy to cancel both, and the services didn't end until the date I had paid.
