No but I access my home-server remotely from my university all the time and it hasn't gone down once. Better uptime than paying for EC2 on AWS US-East-1. Obviously this approach isn't scalable but it serves me well.

They're using OS provided rendering engines. So Chromium based Edge Webview on windows, Webkit on Safari and what exactly on Linux ? QTWebengine ? Gecko ? No linux support ? Who knows.

Yes, go based programs observe the proxy variable unless specifically compiled not to. But that doesn't break applications, they just ignore the env var. Go's default package manager doesn't seem to work at all with HTTP Tool

Seriously it takes Oracle thirty minutes to create a new database. Stuff that Postgres or MariaDB can do in seconds. Also, why does the database have 5 GB of dependencies ? Postgres and MariaDB both have < 100 MB (maybe 10 MB) downloads
