Yeah, except that in reality there have been and still are working examples of people voluntarily being able to join unions. So I’m not sure why you’re so sure you’re right when the real world contradicts your predictions.

And you’ve never had one, ever. So mock my limited, yet actual, experience while you arm chair philosophize about how many people unions have helped in your imagination.

If a union is so good then a company would not be able to hire anyone outside of the union because everyone would want to be in the union. It’s a voluntary system. Anything else is just tyranny.

I take it that’s a no for you. I’ve only ever had one union job (at a young age) and that told me everything I need to know about unions. Ultimately if you’re not getting paid what you’re worth, that’s on you. Or you’re wrong about what yo

Just curious if you’ve ever worked in a union job? I have and my experience was that you will never get paid what you’re worth - if you’re talented. So if you want to argue that people with less talent can make more money with unions, I wou

If the company agrees to it, I don’t see why not. It sounds like a bad idea for everyone except the union leaders, but I’ve seen other non-union based agreements like this where companies completely outsourced HR. As a Union leader though,

I believe people have a right to unionize so long as that is balanced out with a company's right to not hire anyone from a union. Free association has two sides.

No, the other questions are: 1) Does your union represent you as talent or just by your seniority? 2) How much more (or less if you're talented) do you make now because you're unionized? 3) How much are you forced to PAY to the un

You're asking two different questions. First, when one human kills another human, it's either a legally justified killing or murder. The majority of policy killings are justified and not murder. So that's "what else&qu

I'm really not sure what the point of this article is. Is it saying people are equal? Because they're not. "All men are create equal" doesn't mean all people are equal. In fact, we know all people aren't c

The article had an interesting title, but the actual text quickly descended into comparing hard science like physics with soft sciences like political science and sociology. Basically, if you’re a flat earther you’re pro brexit and trump.

I’m so confused my these new political identities and partnerships. “Libertarian Socialist” “Anarcho Communists” None of this makes sense and I can’t help feel like someone just made this up because it sounded good when they where high.
