Cool list. Unfortunately slavery has not ended yet. It is still practiced in parts of the world.

The underlying ideas in this opinion piece are dangerous and should not be left unchallenged. 1) Identity politics is a road to hell. It’s bad when the far right plays that game with white supremacy and it’s equally bad when the left plays

Whatever you think of UBI, you won’t be able to point at the results of this study and make any compelling argument that UBI works or doesn’t work. For UBI to be tested effectively it would, at a minimum, need be implemented at a national l

That’s fair, thanks. What I was trying to say, without saying it, is that rasism is not what the cultural Marxist are trying to sell - “power + privilege”.

Affirmative action IS institutional racism in that it codifies advantage to one race over another. One could argue about the intention of affirmative action, but I don’t think one could argue that it’s not racist, using the dictionary’s def

I’ve never met anyone who claims racism doesn’t exist. Perhaps I haven’t met the right troll? The odd thing about racism is that we typically see it in the US as a asian/black/white/hispanic issue where historically race was

Why does this article start out with unsupported claims of billionaires behaving badly? When a writer puts down people who add enormous value to the world while putting those who extract value on a pedestal, I have to wonder about her motiv

This is a huge problem for “red” states/cities. Many of these people are fleeing a mess they had a hand in making and they haven’t learned their lesson. They’ll be pushing the same political ideology of big government in their new hom

Is it a problem worth solving? A native Swede bigot thinks “I hate all non-straight people.” and a normal Swede thinks “I really wish we could get rid of bigots like that dude. Too bad we can’t deport jerks.” An immigrant thinks the same th

Please quote where I was arguing anything. I was just making an observation. Your observation about Republicans is just as valid. Check your outrage, it’s affecting your perception.

In an ironic twist, complaining about the wealthy has been the Democrats’ rhetoric for as long as I can remember. Here’s some pre Trump complaints I recall... The wealthy don’t pay their fair share. Trump: New tax plan just took away a huge

Batteries are expensive and heavy. Plus range anxiety. If this allows for cars to have a 50 mile battery range while still being able to travel unlimited miles on highways, it would be a huge win.

Cool. I’m glad you said that. Who dictates what is dangerous speech? You? A mob? Now do yourself a favor and go and watch their speeches, then come back and quote the facist bits. I bet you can’t...because I know you can’t.

Yeah, some how I knew you’d go there. When you hold up small regions that survived for a short time (about 3 years), created nothing, then were defeated, I’m not sure you’re going to win against a system that created modern North America fr

I would recommend less time studying theory and more time studying history. Communism is great in theory but no matter how well read I am on Marx, Lenin, or Mao it won’t make communism work any better historically.
