Sleepy me was expecting something like "1000 thumbnails photos in Dolphin", and I almost opened Dolphin to start testing... but, whoah! Actual things turned different way :D

Are you considering an OS or even a somewhat powerful CPU? I'd prefer a TV with an ethernet + smb client, but not sure if it fits your dumb tv concept :)

Someone produces surveillance tools and is genuinely surprised they are used to surveil people against they will. I wonder what would makers of social rating system say.

I don't think is widespread enough to be "a thing", but it sure does exist. Techmoan made a video on it, but, AFAIR, he had to use modern decoder, so I'm not sure how it's made.

This is dreadful. I'm not an Apple user, but I suspect Android is not far from implementing similar "features". No way this is just "for technical reasons", it's clearly an agenda.

If they expand, I'm afraid, you're not gonna be part of it. :D You know, that already happened before. When Germany tried to.

You sound nonsensical. Russian government did enslave russian population?? Just remember that "coincidentally" the whole Romanov (that's a stage name) family are germans. And official history is even more coincidentally was (

2FA is hell. It was forced on people to control them, not to help them. There should be a law that would forbid banks and other companies to demand a phone number. But, unfortunately, things are upside down now. :(

Yeah, I did that. But I'm not sure now if that was that necessary - sometimes fingers slip to the nearby Ctrl key.

I knew this was a joke from the start, but I wish so much it would be true! I'd rather have just plain old .deb packages.

Why is there an itch among devs to drop Win7 support? Does it lack something THAT important in its API???

As soon as Linux gets as usable as Win7, I'm switching from linux. From Win7. To KDE (most likely). And not to anything else.

I've tried non-free KDebian last month. It still booted without wi-fi. But what's most frustrating - it didn't detect any partitions on my drive. The KDE installer I mean. lsblk showed everything just fine. Same with Neon liv
