Chicago train stations have overhead heaters, you press button the heat you up with infrared, but they look more like 10KW devices.

I think you should not tell people what tell to other people, it is passive-aggresive and "overbearing".

You should not switch straight to vegan, you should've started with vegetarian.

I think you are torturing yourself and need to stop. I have no craving for meat, and occasionally, when I am forced to eat by cooks mistake or for social reasons (funerals etc.) I feel uncomformatable as if I've eaten soap.

I am sorry to hear that, but your experience actually conforms what I said, only those who transition needs the fake meat substitute. I have about 12 years of vegetarian experience, and after 0.5 years of switching |I stopped having any cra

I apologise, but you sound ultraprovincial, like "dayumn liberals" way. Vast majority of food non-vegans eat is vegan.

Frying meat creates more carcinogens AFAIK; my point was not that though, I was arguing that ultraprocessed herbal food is not same processed meat food, almost certainly less harmful, as it does not require as much nitrites etc.

News flash - vegans and vegetarians do not need "meat substitutes", as we do not crave meat. Difference between 33% (non-vegetarian) and %39 (vegan)percent of "UPF" is trivial, and probably won't matter and will be

I personally use it frequently in a VM, and I find it nicer than Ubuntu as I get fresh packages, without risk of borking os itself, ass base and packages separate. Other than that, chrome/kde works about same.

Did you actually use it for desktop? Yes it has some regressions and rough edges, but it has very nice release cycle for packages - quarterly (much like ubuntu but twice as fast), and separate schedule for the base system; the makes borking

GTK3 had no fractional scaling, GTK4 had it broken, but QT has the best fractional scaling I've seen.

This was not my point. My point is that Apple uses old panels, which are pushier on eyes, instead of asking LG to put normal backlight. A supposedly premium manafacturer stuck with the panel from 2016; Apple stopped innovating, outside the

I do not like the panels Apple uses, they have harsh backlight, due to 450 nm blue primary; nwer panels have 455-460nm blue light peak. My eyes are sensitive and I get tired on Apples.

First of all, just for sake of discussion, it is not normal to try prove negative statements. In any case it is hard to make definitive arguments about phenomena observable internally, such as qualia. Now, we can make reasonable claims that

Quantum dice roll is _the free will_ in this context. So your free will is what sets the dice; as it is extraphysical, it will look like randomness in the physical world.

Because it studies the only known vehicle of consciousness - neurons and their networks.

It is not "negative free will". Quantum Randomness allows us to move the force behind the outcomes into non-physical world; you can call it soul, if you inclined so.

Marvin Minsky, Tegmark and Putnam have nothing to do with neuroscience, and have no authority to speak about the nature of consciousness.
