I often agree about the animated bit, for example I'd much rather see the Alastair Reynolds novels as an animated series. I just don't think any movie can do them justice. But personally I thought the new Dune movie was really goo

Speaking of epic scifi, when are we getting a Hyperion movie? I'm just re-reading it now and it would make for an amazing movie with todays special effects. Or like a single season mini series.

Fossil fuels are so weird to me. Like any strategy game you play you always get two types of resources, one that is finite and one later that is relatively infinite. And the goal is always to reach the second type of resource ASAP. I guess

I think it's just numbers. Us internet users used to be a minority, and in a very short time a huge influx of new users came online through apps. So relatively if you look at the numbers no one is using websites anymore, but I'd b

So? You can still trade the BTC in for money and do more good with it than just dumping it into /dev/null.

Nice article, after years of emotional flaming finally something fair and balanced about systemd. The point about there existing no competition and no respect for glibc alternatives is very valid and to that I can only say; if you build it,
