That's just it; you can never placate people who want to expropriate everything (or close to everything) from others. It's just never enough. Attempts to tax people at 70% in France (even if it was marginal tax) went south very qu

I'll admit this, I was wrong about Satya. I didn't think Microsoft was salvageable but he's been doing a stellar job. He's a great CEO and embracing open source was a really good move. I shifted to VSCode from atom (befo

Top APIs I've enjoyed working with: 1. Stripe (Best) 2. Twilio 3. Twitter (Does what it needs to do quickly) 4. Puppeteer (Amazing. Was super helpful.) 5. Google (mostly ok but could be better) APIs I've hated working with: 1. Pay

I am only subscribed to 2 newsletters one of which is by Trevor McKendrick - VP at Lambda school(YC). It's probably one of the few newsletters I'd actually pay for. It's sent out every Monday morning so that's something

Would you say the socialist policies of the government have had a negative effect or a positive effect on the country's economy? In your opinion as a resident, does this play at all into why things are the way they are economically?

That's because they have a clear way on how to stop facebook while they don't really know how to stop decentralized crypto (whose whole point is to resist state interference).

How safe are all these plugins we install to escape tracking? Are we trying to escape big tech tracking only to hand our information over to extension developers? Looking at network traffic often shows a ton of extensions sending data to so
