But I wonder why these machines should be that powerful. Sure there are use cases when you need the machine to do heavy work, but in the case of lifting boxes of peppers and transferring them onto pallets, the robot shouldn't be that p

This is a great feature. However, the UX is super bad. I use Firefox for desktop for many years know and I'm happy with it. But for mobile, I keep it installed (and use it from time to time) just to support it.

I love the idea, and the simplicity of the site. Searching for keywords like css, javascript... returns results from the actual source code, not from the content.

I think you don't need a cookie for that. You can use localStorage which is local to the user's device.
