Well, it may not be so much that they're zealots as that they've invested cash in their Kindles... so it becomes a wallet thing what they can't get what they think "they're entitled" to have on their K.

As TC points out, one of the biggest unknowns is how they are going to handle the bandwidth demands - and suitable reimbursement for the carriers - how that will be priced/packaged to keep from pinching the end consumers too painfully.

My partner is an incredibly bright coder, debugger, and all-around trouble-shooter (not to mention pretty hot lady), and I really don't blame her for being disgusted at how the media (NY Times?!) panders to this stuff.

I've had some of the same reactions. Remember that Readability is only at version 0.4 - and i'm not sure that it even has a plan to montetize (sorry, haven't read their site details). Have you considered bringing this suggestion to their
