Came here to say this. I moved my family (and our family domain) into Zoho and love it. It also has better features than Google in many areas. ( cough re-ordering filters cough )

All arguments about age checks themselves aside, why can BlueSky implement age checks in the UK, but not Mississippi? Seems to me like the only difference would be Mississippi requiring everyone to log in, whereas currently I assume UK req

Except that the AIM protocol was reverse-enginnereed and you could then use a single client (GAIM/Pidgeon, Trillian) to talk to all your friends. The protocols nowadays are so locked down that there has yet to be a decent 3rd party im

I remember being SOOOO jealous of my buddy, cause their family got a 28.8 modem! (We were stuck on 16k at the time, IIRC)

Also, 56kbps was the MAX POSSIBLE speed. 48kbps was the maximum speed I ever remember seeing, with somewhere around 42kbps being more common. Occasionally I would connect at 36kbps, see the speed, hang up and try again.

In addition to this, there will always be 2 sets of "primary" colors for a given eye: Additive and Subtractive. Additive primary colors are necessary when you have no light, and need to create color. Think a black screen, and you

Progress bars are very hard. I implemented a PowerShell progress bar in a script I wrote, and even that was hard. The script did a nested iteration, deleting objects and re-starting the iteration. I updated the progress bar based on comp

Is it actually? There is no explicit carve-outs in fair use laws for the use-case of thunbnails that I'm aware of, so where is the case law on this?

We don't need the FCC to push fast broadband, we need to break up the stranglehold duopoly that phone and cable companies have on cities. If Google can't stomach dealing with them to create more competition, what chance does anyo

Going Mac in an enterprise environment is a stupid move. Apple is constantly changing how MDM works. One week they'll go all-in on some method of doing things, and tell everyone they must comply or GTFO. The next week they'll
