When working on a documentation generator, I wanted users to be able to set a color of their choice and have the page automatically adapt to that color. I got the idea of using CSS variables to achieve this.

How about something like "<green check> (Built in)", "<green check>(Native Ecosystem)", "<yellow check> (Third party), "<red cross>" as a fix which avoids loads of text?

Implemented and working, should probably move this whole thing outside ws.onmessage too, could be run every fifth second or so.
