Since when does the truth need context? If I tweet "males are not females" on Twitter with no context, they will ban my account. Also, if I want to say "the gender you have now should match the gender you were assigned at bir

No one has a problem with anyone making nazi groups planning hate crimes illegal. My biggest concern is Facebook deciding who is a "nazi" and what constitutes a hate crime. My belief (backed by scientific fact) that biological sex

I think they should re-assess their goal. Abolishing every single category of incarceration is as realistic as finding a way to travel faster than light.

You mention the first line of code, so I'm assuming you're talking about software. If you're having trouble getting started, it could be because your idea is not clear enough in your mind. How can you get to where you want to

I don't think that's a gross misrepresentation from the point of view of the average person at all. The average consumer of news that has already staked a political position will ignore the nuance you pointed out in your comment.

Are you referring to local news stations or national networks? I've also suspected CNN and MSNBC have a bias toward the "far left". What would you, caseyohara, accept as proof of left-leaning bias from CNN or MSNBC?

How is appending not editing. If I append a statement to the end of your comment that contradicts your earlier point without your permission, how is that not editorial?

This isn't about moderation, or removing tweets or banning people. Twitter changed the content of The President's tweet. When they edited his content, they became a publisher. Had simply removed it, I think they'd still be ok

But that's entirely his point. Facts can be backed up by evidence. As you rightly pointed out, he can provide no evidence as proof of his wild prediction. We can make predictions based on scientific facts, but a prediction itself is no

Twitter ceased to become a platform when they changed the content of The President's tweet. They literally editorialized his content. That act made them a publisher.

This is the point that most people seem to be missing and this is where Jack Dorsey seemingly made a huge mistake. I don't know if he did it on purpose to force his company to do something he knows should be done, but he doesn't h

I wonder why they are so easily able to work with and integrate external services, but they couldn't work with and integrate with their own internal services. I think it has to do with the fact that the boundaries to the external servi

While I would agree that most people don't think this way, the relatively few people that occupy executive level positions certainly do. Haven't you ever wondered why sociopaths are over-represented in positions of power and autho

For the longest time, a one-size-fits all product was Twitter's strongest value proposition. I disagree about the single model of discussion, and its inability to handle longer blocks of text. To me, these are some of the most signific

I don't think Jack is either woke or not woke enough. Twitter doesn't have a COO, but I do believe whomever is making day-to-day decisions at Twitter has a liberal bias. One need only look at the NY Post journalist that was recent

Who do we trust to be the arbiters of extreme positions? I would consider the dismissal of using biological science to define male and female as an extreme position, and yet I could be banned from Twitter by saying as much.
