   I moved to Coos Bay a little over ten years ago, and I am still as leftist as when I moved here. I think social media has a lot to do with people changing for the worst, whether here or anywhere else. I agree Astoria is a much cooler vibe,

   House of Leaves blew me away when I read it after it came out. I agree that is a fresh take on narrative form, and I personally found the process of reading it quite fun.

   Anathem is definitely my favorite Stephenson book. I've read all of his books except for his newest book, and I have yet to finish Seveneves - I didn't want it to end, so I put it down.

   Thank you for posting this. I have been hospitalized a few times for acute pancreatitis, for 5-7 days at a time. No food or liquids allowed, with just a saline drip and an IV of dilaudid every 4 hours and hydrocodone every 2 hours. >Deli
