Thats perfectly reasonable. Double isolation but that isn’t too costly. I’m talking more about people doing the same as you except they’re linking the VM storage to another vm (truenas) over network despite it all being on same host. Think

These sort of things always seem to assume a fairly relaxed software environment. In practice I’ve found the big corporates try hard to keep their excel files with financial data and their Python environments with pip & all those associ

The consistency with which networking hardware companies produce such garbage is crazy. And it’s always amateur hour backdoors somehow. If it was something sophisticated they might get a pass on „ok some security agency made them do it prob

Also you can use zfs on a proxmox host and use that both for NAS duty and for the VMs. For some reason people insist on doing truenas on top of proxmox and then introducing a networking layer between everything they do. Noooo…

Confused as to what's new here? It's been known that there is this thinking layer for a while. e.g. here's a random hn discussion from months ago https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47500709 Pretty sure i&#x

LLMs in general give very "A Young Lady's Illustrated Primer" vibes....magic black box that you can talk to about anything. Especially if it has some faux identity like openclaw/soul

I’ve been on a GLM coding plan since they launched ~year ago and it’s been at „good enough“ since the start. Tangible behind absolute SOTA but like you say most coding isn’t rocket science.

Seems like a misread to me. Tokens don't have inherent value. You can't hoard them and stuff them under a pillow. They're valuable when applied to a problem. It's like asking a shovel making company why they need gold mi
