Seems likely that the cops would take action against you for assault more than filming

Seems like a questionable correlation. The companies with money to burn on AI are those those that are growing and doing well so ofc their growing headcount too

America has already switched it off. Cutting edge Fable being US only was as clear of a warning shot as it gets. Especially considering China will not keep theirs open forever

That’s a good looking build. I considered going the 10 inch route too but ultimately decided on a small 19 mainly because I also wanted to fit a ATX build in there and most gear is 19 standardised

That looks solid. Alas UI isn't the problem. I want google to fix their broken plans. Why can a FREE consumer account use antigravity but my $22 plan can't? It's not even consistent within my account. I can generate a Banan

Reminds me of the scene in series Incorporated where a megacorp uses this sort of tech to interrogate an employee from a competitor mega-corp to get at a trade secret. It's a little spooky how real that could now be. Oh and that series

Yeah I've already got a game plan - move the email to proton & sign up for claude to replace gemini search/chat...which I do use heavily. Works out more expensive but claude pro seems to include a little coding agent usage too

Yes though I wouldn't want some of the possibly illegal stuff people search for flowing through my infra even if just name resolution

Oh that's clever. Was thinking about putting a slug into the URL as "secret" but subdomain is probably easier to square

Think you're missing the point a bit there. All that generation capacity is great, but you need to get the electrons to the datacenter. And in most jurisdictions the transmission part of the grid is a shared cost. Mostly...there is tec

That's nice but it's on google's broken AI studio thing. I can't use half the stuff on there because it requires a Google One account. Which I'm ineligible for because I'm on a workspace account. Can I switch?

It's kinda crazy that data centers aren't on some sort of ringfenced scheme. This whole just throw it on the grid and residential consumers pick up the increased infra costs is insane

Kinda crazy that it worked but got no commercial interest. Hopefully someone suitable here sees it and can intervene Does it also work through other materials. i.e. through a drywall etc.

It's unclear to me how they're deducing the labs from this? "host.includes(keyword))" doesn't seem at all useful. Most corporate machine hostnames are just some numeric ID or similar not baichuan001 or whatever >

wow that’s an ugly look. Kinda weird though even for Europe that a high profile 10+ floor commercial building doesn’t have suitable climate control

Sounds like the Americans lied to get a stronger response than warranted. Can definitely understand why police would roll aggressively and with limited info if they’re lead to believe there is an active threat at a mass public event.
