It shocks and concerns me that someone needs to ask that. Of course they can. It was never "yours" any more than "your" Facebook or Tiktok account.

There is a big difference (I think you know this) between equality of opportunity and equality of outcome. Regardless of who benefits more currently (and may benefit in the future), creating new victims of discrimination is not a good solut

Agreed. And if you make that decision between multiple qualified people based on sex or race, that's a problem.

Your viewpoint is that because peoples experience don't match your own + the studies results, it must be a lie? I hope my interpretation's wrong here, that's a very closed-minded and sad way to live.

Firmly disagree. Anyone can use any protocol they wish to, that's the beauty of the internet.

If you're security focused, why not GRE tunnel to a vultr or similar VM and exit there? Then your ISP gets no information.

Don't use random Wi-Fi then? Or if you do, have an always on routed VPN? You're leaking data all over the place, placing the burden on the website owner is silly.

It's incredibly easy to prove. You could prove it by setting up clean devices. Plenty of people have attempted to prove it, and gone radio silent after trying. There are billions of users, and tens of millions of them are technical, an

As someone who did support for dial up in Australia many years ago, I've been thinking of doing this. It would be trivial to set up a VoIP service restricted to outbound POPs.

In Australia, Nintendo are required to refund in this scenario too (and would). These are consumer law issues that should extend beyond games.
