I once got an email from PayPal where it claimed that I had been double-charged on my PayPal account, and they also misspelled my first name. It was a legit email, but it sure as shit didn't look like it.

I do dislike how toy-like the user interface looks, but I really hate how illegible notifications are on iPadOS. I had to turn on the reduce transparency setting so I could read the notification text against my lock screen wallpaper.

You can get used cars with a warranty too, since a lot of manufacturers have certified pre-owned programs. For example a 2025 Mercedes-Benz C300 is $48,450 but a certified pre-owned 2022 Mercedes-Benz C300 is $32,820, and you get whatever i

Auto loans defaulting seems to suggest that the car market does not support the current rates and prices.

Glad that my country (Finland) is also on the correct side of this. Disappointed that our Nordic and Baltic neighbours are not though. Would've expected more, especially from Estonia.

The iPhone 17 Air has the Pro SoC in it. It's sort of a in-between model between the base iPhone 17 and the luxury iPhone 17 Pro. Pro performance, base camera.

My guess would be that an aluminum iPhone Air would bend, so they were forced to make it from titanium to keep it thin.

I'm surprised that Apple is giving every single iPhone model 256 GB starting capacity. My prediction would've been 256 GB for the Pro and 128 GB for the base iPhone 17. Guess those AI models need space?

I feel like there's a real alternative in changing your methology for estimating job creation, especially as survey response rates continue to fall.

Yeah, my iPhone 11 Pro came with the ultra-wideband chip in late 2019, and before the AirTags were released in early 2021, I believe the only thing it was used was for ordering AirDrop targets by proximity. It was clearly intended for the A

There's no real reason to learn Finnish other than curiosity, so I'm not surprised there's no community around learning it. You can move to Finland without knowing the language at all, since everyone else around you will happ

I got a power-over-Ethernet splitter for my Pi 2B since being able to use PoE might be the only advantage it has over a mini PC. Otherwise it's just a very slow PC that takes 45 minutes to compile the single service I run on it. Not su

Go to your local Mitsubishi dealership in Europe and you will find the 2025 Outlander PHEV with a CHAdeMO plug. And I believe if you buy a pre-2019 Tesla Model S or Model X, you will have to deal with Tesla's own plug.

Pretty sure they already do it. I've also noticed that if you have a fast connection (like 1 Gb/s down), it might be faster to download the game when it releases than it is to preload it and then decrypt it, since the decryption p

Hey, at least it's factually accurate. The 911 Turbo does in fact have a turbo in it. And technically the 911 GT3 does not have a turbo in it, so not all 911 have a turbo in them. Thankfully the 911 Turbo is one that does have it.

Terrible naming and EVs go hand in hand. Tesla's S3XY is quite bad in that it's a shit joke and there's just a random number instead of a letter because you couldn't make it the Model E. And Cybertruck just completely br

Any waste as long as it's not plastic. Plastic's a free-for-all. There's really nothing you can't individually plastic wrap. An apple? Wrap it in plastic. A cookie? Plastic. A plastic straw? You can wrap that too.
