There's a benefit to having a standard question that you can grade independently, you can uncover your own teams biases by having two people evaluate a candidate. One who met them, one who didn't. It can avoid interviewer bias wit

I remember learning Humpbacks work to deny Orcas meals sometimes. I can totally imagine Orcas connecting the dots to attack smaller boats. If anything it could just be stress + source of noise == bad. https://www.nationalgeograph

How do you avoid bias? It seems that if a personal project aligns with the interviewer's preferences or tastes it could create a huge bias.

I wonder how much of that is a networking effect. If you met an Iranian woman outside of Iran, the chances they had the money to travel or have a connected family is higher. I think the government nets capture lots of people. Anyone who is

It won't even have to wait till then. November is the Prop 22 ballot. If it fails, I imagine Lyft/Uber will just have to start switching. By Sept. 4 each defendant must submit a sworn statement from its CEO “confirming that it has

Whoa. Must be interesting on the pandemic pods. I haven't heard first hand about this in any of the articles I've been reading about it. Do all 5 families have some kind of agreement about safety and rules about exposing yourself?
