I'm a Ranger. One of rules though is not to put ourself in danger. Which is opposite of what a cop might need to do. We have a few must reports (rape, lost child, and sexual assault) that we must call in but anecdotally I've rarely heard of a Ranger calling in LEO (law enforcement officer) to handle anything that isn't a gun/weapon or a must report. But Burning Man has no guns and everyone is there on vacation. It doesn't apply.
