America failed to install democracy and lost trillions of dollars in the process. All of that for nothing.

You expect Russia to fight like America, but when was the last time that America won a war? America has spent trillions of dollars on colossal failures.

Sometimes there are regressions in the kernel and other driver issues. My laptop is more than five years old and I had to boot an older kernel for a while until a regression got fixed. I guess that's less likely to happen on Windows. N

It may not be easy but it's bound to happen if the results are predictable. Added to that, it's normal for an absolute monarch to be paranoid.

Christians find meaning in their suffering. Materialists find it challenging to do that and often want to erase suffering completely.

If you had a brain scan of pleasure and a brain scan of happiness, do you think they'd be identical? I think you understand that unbridled pleasure eventually leads to jadedness, because you excluded drugs. The other forms of pure plea

Pleasure is immediate, whereas happiness (or joy) reflects something more long-lasting and is often ineffable. You can get used to pleasure because you can predict it and control it. Joy and wisdom are not gained so easily, and it's th

I think I might've got confused with Inkscape. I remember GIMP handles transforms very well.

Skew transform and other transforms. GIMP also has an excellent print interface. Krita doesn't have one at all.

Keto is not that hard. It's only hard if you like convenient food because almost all food products are geared towards sugar/carb addicts.

"violent enemies" implies they were willing to do violence against him. Where's the evidence of that?

As far as I can see, there's nothing there mentioning people accusing others of being 'not fascist enough'. Also, you said 'violent enemies', but I can't see that mentioned either.

We are mammals though. Doesn't the mammalian brain make us more empathetic? Or do you think our biology has subverted it somehow?

Maybe we're just not good at working in big groups (Dunbar's number) and we need a legal system as a result.

I don't agree with the OP, but the OP did say 'on a biological level'. I don't think the OP exists purely on a biological level.

Sorry, I thought you were dogwhistling. A dominant culture means a step back from individualist values. The most effective 'policies' are created through communities not through law. We cannot rely only on the law for a healthy so

Monocultures don't need explicit laws to regulate things, so it's not the same. Your libertarian argument works in theory, but the reality is much harder when you can't rely on a shared culture.
