Come on, which ones are you talking about FB, Twitter, Netflix, Google, MS, Amazon, Oracle, Intel, AMD, Nvidia and on and on. How many companies does there have to be for the monopoly record to stop? Frankly at this stage I'd have to s

The source of this claim is entitled to an opinion but it does seem in the minority.

Also there is a massive assumption that the person with the smart phone or fancy car is actually happy and fulfilled. That may or may not be true. There is a high degree of relativity in our feeling of contentment.

And so we can all live with what is deemed essential and doled out by the state? Guess what? I don't think that's better.

And your immediate black and white view shows how impossible it will actually be. I've shown two sides of the most obvious dichotomy and you've show how intractable this will be by instantly expelling me, theoretically.

Better can be very subjective. What you think is better may not align with what I think is better. One of us may feel individual freedom at all costs, one might be the greater good trumps the individual.

It is entirely possible that there is actually no significantly better way for us to go about this. The assumption that life can be good and happy for all is just fundamentally flawed in the face of the human condition and physical reality.

The tipping point might be for new car sales, but I'd be more interested in second hand market which is the vast majority of car sale transactions. I personally would not buy a new car with my current finanical situation, even though i

ElasticSearch know exactly what they are doing here. By leaving it grey and a little open to intrepretation they know that AWS lawyers will have to advice AWS to avoid it because it might open them up to legal attack.

For CP2077 vs HL it's pretty obvious why it would need to be a lot larger, with the sheer volume of art assets, story writing, level design, voice acting, game balancing and engine sophistication required. But I'll be the first to

You might get some bargains on ebay for sure. But straight up it would make no sense for a non professional workload. You could get a AMD 5500 XT 4GB GDDR6 (WX2100 is 2GB GDDR5) for a similar ball park in price with 5x the bandwidth and a l

HL to Cyberpunk 2077 is very much apples to oranges, on many levels. * The team size required for a modern day AAA title is significantly higher than that of HL days. * The games design choices are vastly different. HL was very on the rails

True, but these are workstation cards, they're for GPGPU workloads or Rendering workstations for pro artist. You'd rarely if ever find them in a gaming PC (too expensive with no real benefit for gaming workloads).

My point is not that they were telling the truth, just that both sides tell blatant lies. And career politicians will have racked up a bewildering history of lies and mistruths. YouTube, Twitter or whatever are private property but they are
