Just click the “docs” button at the top and the concept is explained in the first paragraph.

This shows us that Instagram still has a viable business without the algorithm. Falling by half sounds like a lot, but the glass-half-full read of that is that it means "Instagram would still be incredibly popular without its algorithm

Gross. Music is one of the great joys of life. It’s a tactile, emotional experience. Learning to play and make music does wonderful things for your brain. By far the worst use of AI is replacing human art.

Could that just be a bad product though? Like, I could trial Microsoft Teams and decide that chat will never work at my company, even though much better chat apps exist.

But aren't there plenty of uncensored/unrestricted models out there? Where is all the collateral damage? Also, I think if Claude and OpenAI are just doing industry standard guardrails that everyone else is doing including DeepSeek

That’s where you just get the SE on the cheap and don’t use the health stuff. The battery life isn’t an issue, especially for the kind of light use you describe. Charge it when you sleep.

Driver assistance and self-driving cars are probably one of the cheapest and low-effort band-aids to the infrastructure mistakes made in the US. They are, of course, not as good as more enlightened city planning, but they’d be an improvemen

I think a large percentage of your problem might be that you bought the most expensive model. Was the Ultra really the one to get? It’s the thickest and heaviest, for one thing. There’s a decent argument for the SE as the best Apple Watch f

The doctor is probably the best place for this technology so that you can actually talk to your doctor rather than your doctor half-paying attention while they try to input everything into their EMR system on the computer.

I don’t know, I am not sure I’ve ever felt like I’ve needed a personal assistant in the way you’ve described. None of these tasks seem hard and some seem entirely unnecessary. The music playlist example in particular seems highly unrealisti

I think the product as shown in this marketing material with these examples falls squarely in the “nobody asked for this” territory of AI. At least with B2B AI there is a problem to be solved: reduce my labor costs and increase my business

Huge floor to ceiling windows is exactly what I have. Of course I also don’t want to make my room pitch black just to watch TV. It’s good to know that there are solutions designed for high-light situations, though.

Yeah the projector doesn’t quite save on room aesthetics if I need whole screen setup, unless I spend even more to make it super hidden and seamless in the room. I’ve just found that disabling network connectivity and going with an external

If you’re interested but don’t want a console, check out the N64 recompilation scene. People recompile N64 games natively for PC and enhance them. Example: https://www.shipofharkinian.com/ The answer is no, Nintendo will ne

Is that really part of Apple’s strategy? They have recent examples of moving a whole bunch of stuff that requires a lot of research in-house. You’ve got stuff like their silicon, cellular modems, Vision Pro, the health business, etc. Really

I love my friend’s house that has no TV and that’s exactly what they do. The room aesthetically looks so nice without the screen in it. However, the laptop solution tends to only work if you’re single or have no family. The TV is unfortunat

In America, a 1,000 square foot home uses an average of 8x the energy you do during the summer. I find that amount to be somewhat lower than I expected to be if I’ll be honest. After all, America is the land of central air conditioning and
