I'm talking about the rule against doxxing in general and why it is necessary. You are are picking a specific person and arguing that the rule shouldn't apply in this case. But that's not how rules like this work and you are taking a shallo

And that theoretical harassment will pale in comparison to what results when someone tied to something controversial is outed on reddit. It's not really comparable.

Do you also think that it's ok to have sex with a girl who's drunk and passed out as long as you clean up afterwards? You say that like it's a bad thing.

But so does 'trying to take photos of a women's secondary sexual organs without her knowledge or consent' (creepshots). Does it? If the person in question never visited the sub-reddit in question, would they even know the photo existed?

So you have to look at what sort of speech they protect (sexual photos of children, sexual photos of people without their consent) and what sort of speech they don't protect ("outing" people who take photos of people without their consent)

Interrogate the assertion that those photos are "creepy and wrong". Why are they creepy and wrong? I think you'll find the answer to your question in there. Or you could just answer my question.

That's a slippery-slope argument, and it's ridiculous in this case. Reddit isn't being pressured to ban any and all offensive content; they're being pressured specifically about sexually-suggestive photographs of underage girls, created wi

I find the rules to be fairly clear. 1) You can't ban content just because it offends someone, there wouldn't be much content left, if any. Is religion distasteful? Violent images of war? Gay marriage? And it's not like a user is forced int
