Maybe use Android. You can sideload to that. Why even use an iPhone at all if all you want to do is bypass the appstore and sideload apps anyway? Get a great Android flagship phone with all it's bells and whistles on it and sideload aw

Nope. I don't use any Chrome/Chromium based browsers at all. I stick with Firefox and on rare occasions, Safari.

I've heard of them, but never investigated anything about them. I just now looked them up and new ones are selling for like $20,000. I don't think I'm their target consumer.

I knew a therapist LOOOONG ago that used Tarot cards in their therapy. They absolutely, at the start of doing that with a patient, said there was nothing mystical or magical about them, but like you said, they provide a way to start opening

I hadn't heard about the end there, when Pete wrote a note for his widow to be read at his funeral. That's really touching.

Oh I have a TV that's "smart", but like you it's not connected at all to my WiFi. It's just a dumb terminal to my AppleTV. On levels of trust, I would put the AppleTV above my old Nvidia Shield and MUCH higher than

Not actually. I've been using the Mac since 1985, but not exclusively. The same year I got more into the Amiga as it could do so much more...but Commodore didn't know what to do with the machine and now it's just a footnote.

I have a dumb home. No smart thermostat. No smart doorbell. No cameras festooning the outside of my house. No smart TV. No smart home owner. Long ago, I saw a movie as a kid in the 1970s called Demon Seed, where this big computer gained con

I must be doing something wrong, because I don't hate this. And this is coming from someone using the Mac since 1985ish or so. Like I said, I'll try harder to hate on it more as that seems to be the cool thing to do.
