Wanna have fun with emacs? Try to integrate evil mode nicely in different plugins. Especially if you use totally different key bindings in vi (non qwerty layout for example). It was very painful experience for me. Yes, vim is far from ideal

From supported os section: > Ubuntu 12.10 or any compatible (x86_64) Is it gtk compatible or what? Why just 12.10? Some specific gtk version? I don't get it.

I remember few years ago this concept was demonstrated as an way to get user website history from the browser. This is big privacy hole. And sadly nothing changed. Which is sad.

There was clear information that "If Agency will find that information gathered from NSA program will benefit to US it will be used, even if it's private commercial information". So yes, it's related to NSA. And very fun

For me it always feels like people who are bashing on systemd never actually used it. I was very concerned about systemd for long time. And nowadays I use it on all my machines/servers. And it just makes my life so much easier. I'

I think this will not affect they reputation in any way. Solaris and MySQL stories are good proof that Oracle isn't about reputation, from perspective of market that they are targeting they are doing right thing.

Russia tries to push their propaganda on their channels. All other news channels are trying to push their point of view on current situation. It feels like no one actually cares about truth any more. And this is very very sad.

Current title that I see "Linus Torvalds on implementation of human-readable file system" is off. It's about file formats, not file systems.

I have question. Is salting solution like hash_function(salt_hardcoded_in_app + password_string + user_unique_salt) bad? Does adding hardcoded salt reduces security of app? Why? Thanks for any info on that.
