I ran the 'alternative' driver version of a wifi card 15 years ago already for basic wep/wpa attacks on my laptop. I don't think one very specific, custom made, non upgradable linux device gives me that much benefit thro

Companies still pay 5k and more for a basic website. 5-10k is quite affordable. Investment is not basic math. Its also dependencies to US companies, trust etc.

This is not a general purpose computer though. There is no keyboard and you would need to start adding stuff. The volumne then would be bulky as hell. Any small form factor laptop would be cheaper and easier and also has better specs. A che

What a weird thing to build. I can just do all of it with a laptop. At that price point they will have to put it, it will not be worth it to buy it to carry it around to play around 'sometimes'.

We wont for anytime soon. Intel and TSMC are not what they are today just because they buy a very expensive EUV Machine from ASML but because they have the knowledge and infrastructure to even use these machines.

It was estimated that Mythos is 10T. And serving is not training. For distilling you need to train the big models to have something to be distilled.

Combining Gemini and Antigravit is probably good. But that i pay for some 2tb storage and i'm a 'pro' user while not really a 'pro'user and that there is another 'pro' package makes all of that very weird.

You always need to read through the marketing garbage. Nonethless, in comparision to a lot of other companies, Google has Deepmind and the money to just do all of it without spending money which doesn't exist.

I think I read so much code over the last 15 years, that its not a thing i will lose. But at least for me, I really read a lot of code, a lot of PRs from others and evaluated them.

Yeah for 10-60 BILLION. which again makes this even stupider. For this amount of money you can rebuild cursor and everything else on the market, and with the rest of 9-59 Billion, you just hire experts in coding and let them code real high
