Do you think an extension for vscode might be worth it?

I would differentiate between intrinsic complexity of a problem and artifical complexity of a solution. Certain knots can be solved without changing the topology! They would just add artifical complexity. Also, some truths can have both ver

As I said, it would be a very problematic answer. But only if you properly define when two non-finite sets have the same size, you can lead this to a contradiction. Infinity can be understood intuitively, extending it to the cardinal numbe

This is how we use it: https://imgur.com/a/I6BD4vF To be honest, we abstracted hooks away. It works for arbitrary complex cases.

This thought can be made much more concrete when talking about sets. Clearly we can understand a collection of things as a set. Clearly numbers are things, so we can talk about the set of all numbers. But how many elements are in this set?

Yes. Except mobx ;) I like to use function components together with class based observable view models. Only a single hook wires them up. Works like a charm and avoids all the IMHO confusing hook complexity.

With generic types, you can also model infinite state machines by instantiating a generic type with anther generic type. This way you can extend the concept of the presented finite state machine all the way to Turing machines! See here you

I guess, growing up with Delphi IDE, Visual Studio, Browser Dev Tools and finally Visual Studio Code, all calling their "visual debugger" just a "debugger", I got used to debuggers being "visual" by default. As

As of now, before you can visualize your data structure, you must convert it to a compatible json string (like demonstrated in [1]). This json must match the schema of the visualizer you want to use. For TypeScript/JavaScript however,

I don't see how this debugger is visual, but anyway it's cool to see that jupyter finally has a debugger. This is what I would call a visual debugging experience: https://github.com/hediet/vscode-debug-visuali

It shouldn't be hard to implement this for VS Code. It would be cool if it could also record key strokes! You might get valuable data ouf of it (refactorings that might increase productivity, learn how people code, see what can be impr

All runtime differences are quite neglectable if you use typescript, at least in my experience. You never accidentally use unassigned variables in typescript. Also, `{ x: undefined }` and `{}` are distinguishable. Undefined plays well toget

What is `dict()`? What's the meaning of `null`? `undefined` literally means the value is not defined. `null` only has a technical meaning, which says its value is the null pointer.

I find `undefined` better than `null`. Either a user has contact information, or the contact information are undefined (and not null). How do you model that?

I've been working on something similar, also struggeling with `io-ts`. However, I want the schema to be serializable (possibly compatible with json schema) so that a rich ecosystem of tools can be build upon it. There is still a long w
