You can find it here: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=hediet.v... Like draw.io, it is open source! ( https://github.com/hediet/vscode-drawio )

I use drawio, as those diagrams are quite future proof (drawio is open source, very old and you can embed diagrams in svg files) but also very expressive (you can even use latex inside drawio diagrams). Since I created a drawio integration

I guess the entire entertainment industry burns much more money every year than all space missions combined. I would definitely prefer to see mankind visiting another planet over some stupid reality show.

I'm quite happy that I have absolutely no idea what kind of argument could possibly be employed to solve any of those problems. No danger of wasting an endless amount of time here.

2D cellular automata can also be used to recognize formal languages: Every character of a word forms an (initial) state. Finitely many additional non-character states are allowed. A word w is accepted iff the first cell indicates "yes&

Still, you don't have the reverse mapping. Given a slide, how do you find the commentary? The primary goal of this tool is to find the reverse mapping and to provide a simple tool to play the video from a given slide. This is very usef

The tool does not work very well on very low quality videos (maybe ORB is not the best feature extractor for that). However, theoretically, it should work. The tool already calculates a projection of the pdf slide into the video frame to co

I made this tool to prepare for exams more efficiently. It is written in rust and uses OpenCV to detect and match features in slides (provided as PDF) and video frames. The matching algorithm is described in [1]. The PDF pages can appear an

How can ordinary people challenge patent registrations in a fair way? It is easy to claim that a solution is trivial, but it is almost impossible to prove that if you know the solution already. Feel free to adapt the sums I listed, that wou

The approval of a patent registration request should work like this: The issuer provides a public description of the problem the patent solves and a secret description of the solution. They pay $10k in advance to request a patent registrati

I like powershell, but I find its Syntax very hard to learn for casual usage. -eq is just cruel if you are used to proper programming languages. I'd love to see a sane script language ala typescript established as general purpose shell

It would be so cool if you could change the colors directly in VS Code by just pointing to the pixel that you want to change. A color picker would pop up and the change would be applied immediately. (It would not only change the selected pi

I disagree that VS Code is just a "downgrade" of the IDE level experience offered by IntelliJ. Certainly, a lot of functionalities are missing in VS Code, but they are compensated with speed and depending on your needs this compro

I think this is due to some kind of muscle memory. You only start hearing certain patterns in complex music, e.g. Mahler symphonies, if you listen often enough to it. At some point you recognize stuff unconsciously.

If you read/scan 10 lines a second, you still need over 24 hours non-stop to read a 1M+ code base. I doubt a random file ordering is helpful! Especially if you lose code navigation features like "go to definition".
