The driver has to be liable, until the L5 system has lower error-rate than a human. For regulatory and liability reasons, it should be registered as an L2 until it's perfect. No one has ever claimed that FSD is a finished product.

Admitted? The difference between L2 and L5 is liability, it is not a metric of how capable the system is.

FSD handles those situations well, compared to Waymo etc, because FSD doesn't depend on pre-mapping. Waymo depends on pre-generated 3D maps and it fails if there's a discrepancy. That's why Waymo works only on small areas and

I have been using this method for about 10-15 years. I have just a big ideas.txt file where I write something everyday. I don't usually think too much if the ideas even make sense, they're mostly unfiltered thoughts.

In layered systems, there's a hierarchy of layers. Bitcoin is a layer 1 money protocol. Visa is level 8 (not literally), i.e. it is built on top of layers upon layers, which are built on top of US dollar and even that might not be the

Making a chip for your own use should be more optimal than a chip made for a wide range of customers. Also, you don't need to pay the hefty markup for NVidia. If you need a lot of chips, there's a point on the curve where it bec

Housing is not the root of the problem. The root of the problem is our current inflationary debt-based monetary system. Banks create currency by giving out mortgages, and mortgages are backed by real estate. Currency used to be backed by go

Yeah, it seems that the tourism number was mispresented. Still, Bitcoin strategy put El Salvador on the global map, and I think it'll be positive for the country in the long run. In the history books, El Salvador will always be the fir

This won't age very well, just like all the other "bitcoin is dead" posts made during bear markets. Also, El Salvador seems to be "up" if their whole economy is measured, and that's mostly because of their Bitc

To compare currencies, it's probably better to look at market capitalization and number of owners. The market cap is currently at $0.5T and there are about 100 million Bitcoin owners, which makes it a small currency (comparable to Swed
