Was excited to click on it to begin with, but nearly jumped out of my seat when I saw that it was Elixir and LiveView.

It’s a shame that those Minsky links have been broken for at least a few months now. Does anyone know where this material is?

How does he blink? From the picture it looks like his eyelid would have to be stretched out over the device with his fingers.

Thank you so much for all of this great work. What was the inspiration for this direction? Was it a personal itch? Or something else?

I’ve enjoyed all 4 of these articles in this “Jackpot” series. Sort of exploratory writing. You can feel that he’s trying to find the truth, not necessarily convince. Plus it’s like all Gibsonian references.

I liked this. It’s a different approach so take a look at the free pages. Not for everyone but worth a look to see if it fits you. Bonus: the author is responsive. https://machinelearningmastery.com/linear_algebra_for_mac

This got me today. Probably could be characterized as the classic case of: Company says a certain use case is unsupported, but tries hard to accommodate users who are stuck with the unsupported use case, so they hack up a decent work arou

This makes so much sense, and now looking at this image, I wonder if it explains "tabs vs spaces".

I think your examples are valid. I wonder though if it's a choice for someone to work 80 hours a week at $40k to make video games versus 37 hours a week at $80k doing forms over tables stuff for The Bobs. Is that a choice or exploita

I'm 46 years old. I can't think of one example where I was exploited as a tech worker. I'm from a union town, grew up in a union family. I support unions. The UAW was very important to the country and the middle class. I&

The author makes a case against “corporate giganticism” being a cause and blames a “government agency” namely The Fed. It’s hard to take anything the article says seriously if they can’t recognize that The Fed isn’t a government agency and

Posting from Ferndale and some super seriously expensive commercial real estate. I'd say it used to be cheap, but Ferndale is long past cheap now. Hip? Yes, and we pay on par with Troy commercial rent for that coolness in a former i

They aren't very up to date. Many of these have been replaced. The velodrome is maintained by people who simply like to ride. It doesn't look like that picture at all. We get it. There are many urban wasteland piles of crap and thousand
