I’d qualify both scenarios as being competitive, though arguably the Ben and Jerry’s one is likely easier for the “average” person to break into with a cooperative. While the capital requirements are relatively lower to start a food process

I think this sort of thing is nigh impossible to do these days in most parts of the world. If you look at most major cooperatives around the world, almost all of them were founded at least 60-70 years ago if not further out. The primary cha

I think if you had a link in your profile, you could have probably reached half that number by now. Just look at all the comments! In my case, most of the early adoption for my products have been through in-person interactions. Both B2B and

I think you phrased it well. The distinction I wanted to make is that it's more about clarity of thought than absolute brevity.

Wanted to add that relying on an editor is absolutely key. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a professional, a friend or colleague with strong communication skills will do. Edit your own work mercilessly as well, but only after you’ve put y

Lots of great advice here. One piece of advice I got from my publisher when authoring a technical book was to first break down what I was going write into headings and subheadings, and if possible, into sub-subheadings. Then review that to

Our startup is a multistakeholder cooperative with workers representing 1/3rd of the governance. We’ve also received equity funding. Albeit challenging, raising funds through equity doesn’t necessarily preclude a cooperative structure.

We’ve increasingly been looking at electronics as you’ve suggested. I like the idea of tying the controller to the rider’s device. It would require some hacking with our current setup. One of the big risks is that the cargo bikes are worth

Yeah, I’ve been following LPL’s videos and it seems like securing a bike with a lock from even a moderately determined attacker seems to be a hopeless task.

We’ve recently started deploying expensive e-cargo bikes for our food delivery coop[1] to try to whittle down our carbon footprint and increase efficiency in urban areas. We have a similar problem of trying to protect our delivery assets (t
