This Twitter thread strongly suggests the motivation was largely due to bullying from the Kiwi Farms forum, in addition to the owner’s refusal to do anything about the thread. https://mobile.twitter.com/near_koukai/stat

The original thread seems to exhibit gray area stalking. Look at post #84. https://kiwifarms.net/threads/byuu-byuu_nyan-setsunakun0.430... Looking through that thread, I wouldn’t be surprised if a cyberbullying case co

Is being cruel and flippantly celebrating a suicide not condemnable enough?

If the result of banning unhealthy fast food is the saving of millions lives and massive healthcare cost reduction then I would support it. I assume different, necessarily healthier, restaurants would fill the void, so they wouldn’t be miss

If it’s not surprising why do you seem so confident that legalizing prostitution is the best idea? It sounds like in the less than ideal world we live in it’s likely to lead to more human trafficking, and more negative situations for women

What if legalizing prostitution has the secondary effect of greatly increasing the amount human trafficking, which the previous poster seems to be suggesting is the case in Germany? Wouldn’t making prostitution legal be the opposite of work

For #1, did people really believe this? In hindsight, granted, it just sounds obvious that the doubling would have to slow down pretty quickly. Was there some magical feeling in the culture that’s no longer present?

I assumed you were wrong that wealthier people would be more at risk for committing suicide, because this sounds like an interesting but believable bit of folklore trivia, but this study suggests you are right. https://www.ncbi.n

I’m having a hard time believing you’ve met worse than a 10:1 ratio, with respect to interest in vaccines, of “bad actors” to “good actors”. Here are some links to polls about American views on vaccines. It seems unlikely you’re running int

Ah there’s a simple explanation. When I read the original post I missed the word “a”, which changes the meaning. When I read the post it sounded like a talk criticizing previous protests as riots, not an advertisement for a future protest.

You can at least guess the answer must be 1 instantly based on the idea that tan(x) and sin(x) equal x up to first order, and so therefore their inverses do too. (So the limit is essentially (x - x)/(x - x) ) To make this rigorous do a
