This is an interesting theory but I think it is too cynical. Dan Markovits has written on this topic for the last several years.
- nitwit005 5y agoThat's viewing things from the author's point of view, while I was suggesting the publisher's motive for wanting an article with this sort of theme. Ultimately the publisher is maximizing readership, and thus revenue.
