It seems like a really cool idea, I just can't see myself using it though with other locational based apps like 4square. Also, I'd look into twitter bootstrap for the site UI.

Not exactly, most portfolio sites are well, just portfolio sites. We provide a recruiter aspect to it, that allows direct interaction with employers.

Java, I was force-fed it in school. We actually had to develop web applications with it. I wouldn't have cringed so much if I hadn't have been developing in nodejs and php prior.

On one hand I definitely agree that transparent pricing gets more customers, if your product isn't made for an enterprise level there is no excuse not to make the prices transparent. With that being said, many software and web applications

Thing is, they could be doing random, unknown acts of kindness and you'd still be complaining they want the spotlght. Since they aren't publicized, you wouldn't know if they did. But yeah, this backlash is pretty childish on both ends.

As a web programmer I understand where you're coming from, but as a UX designer I whole heartedly disagree. Bootstrap is a wonderful tool for getting your app out there without having to do much on a design level. But I believe that website

I don't know much about law school, so bare with me if this sounds far-fetched. Have you considered trying to offer legal consulting as a service, especially for start-ups? I mean it cant hurt as a side job to pay the bills.
