They already have the Plugin Marketplace [1]. It's all too much of a fast moving target for something as rigid as a package manager I think. Open source projects for now will be limited to Awesome-* collections [2] [1] https:/&#x

Saw my browser having a liquid glass like UI. Only saw it randomly, so I assume Google is A/B testing it. Whilst it doesn't have the blur on the Play and settings buttons, it does seem to follow the Liquid Glass design ethos [1].

That of course depends on the implementation. The point is not the game or the UI ignoring DPI scaling or browser zoom, in fact you would want to support that. The point is, that you cannot do so on a pixel perfect-level across the boar

Very much unlike printed text, for 3D and 2D rendering, the difference between native and non native resolutions is huge in terms of sharpness. A whole host of rendering techniques give subpar results if that cannot be guaranteed, even if o

DevicePixelRatio changes with screen DPI and browser zoom, some combinations result in repeating decimals. You will get off by one pixel rendering and thus a sudden loss in sharpness due to the whole canvas getting bilinear interpolation.

Doing lot's of WebGL, I'm still surprised we don't have a way to describe things in native screen pixels, but rely on a mix of dpr [1] and using 4 corners of a DOM object [2] to calculate true size in relation to CSS pixels.

I'm a huge Adrian fan boy <3 Yes, bokeh blur is way more pleasing. In my article the gaussian likes are the focus for their use as a basic building block for other effects, like frosted glass, heat distortions, bloom and the like. S

My blog's style has Sakura.css [1] as its base, which keeps the paragraphs narrow on wide displays, limited 684 CSS pixels to aid readability. The justify text-style was a choice by me. Now I really wonder whether that hurt readability

OMG YEEEEES. I'm building web based remote control and if this allows me to do ffmpeg gdigrab, have that become a WebRTC stream and be consumed by a client without the ExpressJS gymnastics I do right now, I'll be over the moon.

One place where all LLMs fail hard is in graphics programming. I try on and off since the release of ChatGPT 3 and no model manages to coherently juggle GLSL Shader Inputs, their processing and the output. It fails hard at even the basics.
