I just think it's fascinating how technology could drastically impact our lives. I now can't imagine a world without Google. And I want to be part of that change!

Exactly. PayPal would have never succeeded without Peter Thiels' ability to close fundings left and right. However, I do think one of the founders should be technically savvy, and it doesn't hurt to have the business guy to know some hacki

Thanks. That's exactly what I really wanted to learn -- know what goes on under the surface and how everything interacts, so I could build upon it. I think I have already went through the w3schools tutorials a while ago. If you come across

Investment banking and strategy consulting are two of the most competitive fields to get into right out of college / biz school. Reasons being the pay is ludicrous. What the writer described is not uncommon for people who want to break in

Agreed, this is probably one of my favorite sci-fi novel of all time. Excellent story, well-developed characters. I think what makes this novel so popular is because all of us can related to the main character, Ender, on some level. Highl

I have never interned in a startup environment, but I can provide some insight into what it's like to work for a corporation. I participated in my school's coop program, which allow me to work at IBM for ~9 months in programming/design. Wo

I disagree. In my opinion, if used right, social networking is the ultimate organization and communication tool. Facebook has gradually evolved to become an excellent organized address book. It keeps track of all my friends' contact info

First of all, congrats to Jared! Great accomplishment indeed. For me, college was definitely four exciting years and I don't regret it one bit. The access to learning opportunity was just tremendous, with every subject at my fingertip. I m

I read that 1 out of 10 VC-funded start up succeeds, on average. I am assuming "succeed" means profitable exit. Activity wise, there certainly are enough data to pull a reasonable sample size to create a model. However, the tricky part is
