True, they are definitely very different mediums. However, no one says a video game to movie adaptation has to duplicate exactly the experience of playing the game. Many games have incredibly deep mythology, stories, and characters all of w

You could argue the Resident Evil movies are successful. They've made 5 of them, and most of them have made a ton of money worldwide... Honestly though, I think video game movies right now are like Comic Book movies were 20 years ago. Back

Absolutely, that's exactly what I was thinking as well. My guess would be in most cases it would have very little to do with the actual merits of one platform over another and more to do with the trend being set by someone or something in t

That's funny, in my experience it's quite the opposite. Most of the people I know and work with who were big and early fans of the iphone have since moved on to Android devices. It's amazing how much something like the circle of influence a

As a non-American, I've always wondered why online gambling is banned in the US. Is it simply because the casinos and other non-online sources were able to lobby to make it that way?

I've seen a lot of job listings, at very large companies and academics for the 45-50 range. Keep in mind, these are jobs requiring a PHD, 10 years of experience, and a dozen or so technologies. It's not really the money that's skewed, it's

I'm not an outsider and the 30K was a bit of an exaggeration, and I apologize for that. The point I was trying to make was that if you look in as an outsider, you would see the requirements being extremely daunting compared to what you mig
