When you say over one year of work, do you mean one year of manpower (aka ~2000 hours) or that you started it about a year ago?

I never used Rust. Looking at the code, I see a "Cargo.toml" file that reminds me of composer.json and package.json in that it seems to contain dependencies. Where are these pulled from? Is this the same game as with other depende

I am a big time traveler. When AirBnB appeared on the scene, it was a life changing event for me. So much better then hotels. Since then, AirBnB have not added anything that benefits me. But booking.com have catched up massively. To the poi

Fine. Let Facebook be an order of magnitude more popular then my website. I would still be happy to have 240 million monthly users who pay me 10 cent. Why would I care that FB has 2.4 Billion monthly users and squeezes more then 10cent out

The throughoutput is only one of the problems. There are more: 1: You need to download and install software to use current cryptocurrencies. And users hate that. 2: Turning Fiat into Bitcoin and vica versa is not easy. 3: It is less private

It's crazy, that we still do not have something like "Cash" on the internet. A simple, anonymous way to pay 10 cent or so. To use a website or read an article. That would make the world so much better for indie developers. Cu

Don't know about Ubuntu because I use Debian. docker.io calls their Debian images "official" and says they are maintained by two Debian developers.

Aren't those images provided by Ubuntu and Debian? Then it would not be under the control of Docker which versions are provided. docker.io provides Debian 10 as far as I can tell.

How do you create an image for LXC? With docker, they have the docker.io service with all types of distros you can chose from.

Isn't texting usually used in 2-factor-authentification? What was the other factor? I thought the whole idea behind 2-factor-auth is that two somewhat secure authentification methods combined make a stronger one.
