That does make sense. I do contribute to OSM however. I am just stating that Google Maps navigation seems superior.

Don't get me wrong here, I do contribute to OSM, in fact I even contribute GPS traces. I do believe that OSM is great, I am just stating that there are some things that are holding me back from using it for navigation :(

It really depends on how active your area is though. My area is very bare in OSM. While I've added some stuff to it, it is really too much for one person. It has gotten better I'll admit, but is still lacking. I like OpenStreetMap

As I'm driving somewhere Google can suggest me an alternate route if it sees that traffic is slow ahead and there is a faster route that opens up. Google takes into account construction that may be happening on streets and tries to avo

Mapquest I find is not very good though compared to Google Maps. Much harder to find a POI.

You can still care about mapping an area and use Google Maps though. And I don't see the issue with helping a big corporation. They provide a free mapping service with realtime traffic data, satellite views, and more. I don't see

Any edits I have made on Google Maps have also had the same kind of responses within a day or two. Sure you have to wait a little longer, that makes sense. It really depends on your area in Google Maps. My neighbourhood is barely in OSM, an

Do you have a stat for this? Map maker seems much more know and to have a rather large community based on the Google product page. If anything I'd think the community is much larger for the Google project than it is for OSM.

I am pretty sure that was a baseless argument just to hate on Google.

Everyone is suggesting OSM here, but I am confused how OSM is any better at keeping out these kinds of spam based edits, especially if it is someone who has made a lot of edits? From what I have seen it would be open to the same kind of pro

This is exactly why I use Google Maps to edit. I've tried OSM apps on Android and while they are good, sometimes the directions given are not as smart as Google Maps and they don't account for traffic conditions which is rather un

Yes but none of them have as powerful of a navigation system, nor do they usually account for traffic data which can be incredibly handy when deciding which route to take to head home from work or school during rush hour.

Ah okay, I notice it now that you point it out. Was hard to notice the small popup while I was focused on looking at the game not the little window above it that popped up :/

My mouse didn't seem to lock to the game window so I could only turn so far before my mouse hit the edge of the screen. Other than that it is a cool game to play around with!

Bountysource doesn't require you to use another website though. You stick to using Github and get some added functionality.

I still have issues on my desktop where sometimes I can't interact with the text area of sublime using my mouse. I can still use the mouse with the menus and stuff, but scrolling and clicking in the text does nothing and I have to use

I am interested to see how well this will work. I know I have already had Chrome in the past warn me of downloads that are malware, but I am excited to see if it will work even better!

I have never seen reddit apply any kind of A/B testing. Never heard of them doing this.

How does this actually indicate it had to do with the redesign? Sure the trend may be going up, but the site is increasing in popularity so that makes sense that it is going up. There are more people there to interact with and more communit

I use whois privacy on my domain because it is for my personal site and I'd rather random people not getting my home address, especially since sometimes people get angry with me and will try to find data about me.

I don't think script kiddies could do this size of a hack, especially considering the amount of data involved and stay under the radar this long. If this is what a script kiddie is capable of... then what is a real hacker capable of?

Or use multiple layers so at least you are less likely to be targeted by larger more automated operations, and only so much at risk to a targeted attacked.

More and more just keeps coming out and it honestly seems like Tor is not a flawless method at all for anonymity and it is not something I'd trust relying on. I'd put more trust on using Tor in combination with a logless VPN.

You should also make it so that when you search for something on pirate bay it orders the results by the top seed results. IE: not having to manually click on "Seeds" to order it this way.
